Insight Global is seeking a Sr BI Engineer for a leading biotechnology organization focused on innovation and data-driven decision-making. This role develops scalable reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI, SQL Server, SSIS, and data warehousing technologies.

The ideal candidate is highly technical, hands-on, and enjoys building enterprise dashboards, ETL processes, and partnering with stakeholders to translate business requirements into impactful reporting solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of BI/Analytics engineering experience.
• Strong experience building dashboards, reports, data models, and analytics solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, stored procedures, data extraction, transformation, and optimization.
• Hands-on SSIS experience.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Build reporting and analytics products to drive business decisions.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data extraction processes.
• Create and support ETL workflows using SSIS.
• Integrate and transform data within a data warehouse environment.
• Troubleshoot reporting, data quality, and performance issues.
• Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, stand-ups, and backlog refinement.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver BI solutions.

Description du poste

• 8+ years of experience as a BI Engineer, BI Developer, Analytics Engineer, Data Warehouse Engineer, or similar
• Strong experience building enterprise dashboards, reports, data models, and analytics solutions
• Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, stored procedures, data extraction, transformation, and optimization
• Hands-on SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) experience
• Strong data warehousing and BI architecture knowledge
• Experience with ETL development and data integration
• Experience delivering end-to-end reporting solutions within the Microsoft BI stack
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Plusses:

• Experience in healthcare, biotech, medical device, or FDA-regulated environments
• Experience with SDLC processes
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or other AI productivity tools
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale reporting and analytics platforms

Day-to-Day:
