The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is an experienced data professional responsible for designing, developing, and implementing analytics tools and data solutions. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of business data needs, requirements gathering, data analysis, and the development of robust analytics solutions for advanced projects, self-service analytics, and business user consumption. The Senior BI Developer collaborates with clinical, financial, and operational leaders, subject matter experts, and Information Services teams to create reports, dashboards, and analytics that accurately reflect workflows and drive actionable insights.
Responsibilities include planning, designing, architecting, developing, testing, and maintaining BI solutions, as well as troubleshooting and monitoring existing systems. Expertise in writing relational and multidimensional database queries, data warehousing methodologies, and experience with healthcare systems like Epic, Workday, Azure, and Snowflake are essential. The role also involves mentoring junior developers, leading projects, and identifying process improvements.
