Job summary

Concept Plus, LLC is seeking a BI Developer to deliver comprehensive BI/analytics solutions for a government-focused client. You will design, develop, test, and deploy BI systems across development, testing, integration, and production environments.

Candidate must have DoDAF guidance experience, strong Oracle/SQL skills, and hands-on BI tools like SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik. Join a team that values collaboration, security, and mission-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a government clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• 5+ years of experience with SAP BusinessObjects or equivalent BI/analytics tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
• Experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) or similar enterprise budgeting tools.
• 5+ years with Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning).
• 5+ years of experience in Decision Support System applications and their architecture.
• 2+ years’ experience with Defense Architectural Framework (DoDAF) Guidance).

Responsibilities

• Provide application system support for a client financial platform and deploy BI/analytics solutions across dev/test/pre-prod/prod environments.
• Develop and deploy all BI system software applications across lifecycle environments.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and backlog management, with strong stakeholder communication.

Concept Plus is seeking a BI Developer to provide application system support for a client financial platform. Responsible for developing and deploying all business intelligence system software application development across the development, test, pre-production/integration and production environments.

What you'll do

Core Technical Skills

• Reporting & Analytics: Experience with SAP BusinessObjects or equivalent BI/analytics tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
• Budgeting & Planning: Experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) or similar enterprise budgeting tools.
• Database Development: 5+ years with Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning).

Application & Middleware

• Experience with Oracle APEX or similar low-code platforms for UI/data maintenance.

Delivery & Collaboration

• Agile development experience (Scrum ceremonies, backlog management).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic Server and HTTP Server (install, configure, patch).
• Ability to review Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and implement changes.
• Experience resolving STIG findings and applying DoW security hardening.
• Familiarity with DoWAF and Decision Support System architectures.
• Scripting for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• AWS GovCloud / Cloud One experience or similar secure cloud environments.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Tuning ETL workflows, database queries, and reporting dashboards.
• Implementing monitoring and alerting data pipelines and application services.
• Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket (or similar tools).
