Job summary

Infojini Inc seeks a Sr. Business Intelligence Developer to design and deliver data warehouse and BI solutions for the Judicial Branch (JB-CSSD).

You will translate business requirements into scalable data models, dashboards, and reports using Microsoft SQL Server BI tools and Tableau. The role emphasizes star-schema data marts, optimized data retrieval, and clear communication with stakeholders to drive insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience gathering and analyzing business requirements.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, star-schema design, and slowly changing dimensions (SCDs).
• Minimum 9 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL programming and scripting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with data in Excel.
• Minimum 9 years of experience as a database developer.
• Minimum 9 years of experience designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining SSIS packages and SQL Server Agent jobs.
• Minimum 9 years of experience designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining SSRS reports and dashboards.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Tableau or an equivalent BI visualization platform. Tableau certification is preferred.

Job Title: Sr. Business Intelligence Developer

Location: Glastonbury, CT (Consultants must attend the first two days in person. After that, the position is 100% remote)

Position Overview

The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will develop expertise in understanding the Judicial Branch, JB-CSSD, and its data to ensure alignment with business objectives. The consultant will identify and communicate data trends to business stakeholders, helping them derive meaningful insights by translating business requirements into effective data storage, analysis, and visualization solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing star-schema data marts, optimizing data retrieval, and creating dashboards, reports, and other visualizations for stakeholders.

This role requires strong technical expertise in data development and report/dashboard creation, along with excellent communication skills and business acumen. JB-CSSD primarily utilizes the Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) stack and Tableau.

Scope of Services
