The successful Business Intelligence Analyst is well-organized and detail-oriented. The Gig:

  • Collaborate with diverse resources company-wide to meet timeline objectives
  • End-to-end ownership of projects within the BI Development Lifecycle
    • Consultative requirements gathering with internal stakeholders
    • Create, schedule, and maintain ETL/ELT processes (e.g. new data sources, data cleansing, aggregate/analytics tables)
    • Leverage SQL to create or modify data sets for efficient and accurate analysis
    • Visualize data insights through the design and implementation of BI dashboards
    • Data storytelling of dashboards to internal stakeholders
    • Create any necessary documentation for business users
  • Assist in the administration of BI software and end user support
  • Perform data mining and analysis to solve business questions and identify actionable insights
  • Empower business units to self-service through available BI tools

What you need to make the cut:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Business or Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in analytics, business analysis or comparable consumer analytics position
  • Advanced working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL, data warehouse, data visualization, as well as Excel
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Strong operational business understanding, including potential impact of business decisions on various areas
  • Writing efficient and quality SQL code by following best practices of the team and rigorous testing/validation
  • Provide quality customer service to internal stakeholders by exhibiting the core BSC values during all interactions and meetings
  • Effective data analysis and visualization through stakeholder collaboration combined with domain and analytical expertise
  • Grow in domain knowledge expertise through data exploration and being a seeker of knowledge

The pay range for this position is 57K to 89K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, balanced against internal equity and competitive market based geographic ranges).
