Job Summary

Responsible for tasks related to project completion, including analysis, testing, documentation, problem resolution, and implementation of solutions aligned with the organization's strategy. Also responsible for report development tasks such as requirements gathering, specification and definition documentation, design, testing, validation, analysis, and maintenance for all reporting projects.

Job Duties

1. Gather requirements and define scope independently for projects of all sizes.
2. Support Associate and Intermediate analysis across projects.
3. Facilitate scope gathering in large projects involving multiple analysts.
4. Plan projects and provide time and effort estimates based on requirements.
5. Assist other analysts in project planning and estimation.
6. Build solution architecture for business intelligence and data projects.
7. Identify and profile data to assess quality and appropriateness, understand necessary manipulations and relationships, and determine data transformations needed for BI and reporting.
8. Provide clear requirements for ETL requests to team members.
9. Demonstrate mastery of data literacy by identifying and deriving key insights from data.
10. Educate others on key data literacy concepts.
11. Follow data governance and stewardship practices as defined.
12. Perform documentation and discovery related to data initiatives.
13. Identify data quality issues through profiling, testing, and validation.
14. Act as a data steward, resolving issues or collaborating with relevant parties to resolve and document them.

Experience and Education

Relevant experience may include a combination of work experience and degree: Associate's Degree (2 years), Bachelor's Degree (4 years), Master's Degree (6 years).

• Background in CMS/Medicare or EPIC/Geisinger Clinical analysis software
