This Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) position will be responsible for working with Business Process Analyst, Implementation Analyst, and Operations teams to deliver on internal and external data insights to better track and identify trends. All reporting is intended to come from a single-source analytics tool, whereby the BIA will be responsible for modifying, managing, and creating reports and dashboards. The BIA will perform ad hoc analyses and reconciliations for internal and external clients. The BIA will act as a liaison between the Business Units and the Knipper Data Services team. The BIA should have experience in finding patterns in data, common denominators, and making recommendations to internal and external stakeholders to help achieve their goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
- Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization
- Preparing reports and providing insight to management and leadership to enhance decision-making using fact-based data, with a focus on improving operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Performing ad-hoc research and analysis as required by the business, including generating reports and visualizations as requested
- Generating data extracts and creating reports and visualizations via dashboards
- Consolidating and optimizing reports to reduce redundancy
- Building tools to identify data discrepancies and outputs to enable timely resolutions
- Supporting data analytics platforms (e.g., DOMO)
- Collaborating with teams to determine client needs and goals
- Analyzing business requirements and processes and recommending them to management and executives for implementation
- Identifying development needs to streamline and improve operations for efficiency and profitability
- Translating documented requirements into design specifications and creating documentation aligned with Knipper standards, policies, and procedures

Qualifications
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, economics, accounting, or related field
- 3-5+ years data analysis and visualization experience
- Ideal candidate has experience working closely with internal and external stakeholders to produce Key Performance Metrics
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong analytical thinker
- Strong algorithmic and computation capabilities
- Proficient in Excel, CSV, and text file manipulation of data
- Proficient in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with SQL, ETL tools, desktop database applications; Python is a plus
- Ability to build strong, productive relationships with clients and internal teams
- Ability to collaborate with clients to achieve strategic business goals
- Ability to manage data analysis for several internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and accept accountability for achieving defined goals and objectives
- Proven ability to multitask and manage projects to successful completion
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to self-manage in ambiguous environments
- Ability to research information across various internet sources and exercise sound judgment
- Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life science industry experience a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Data science and analytics experience or education
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Location of job activities 100% inside. Stand and sit for prolonged periods. Occasionally lift, carry, and move up to 20 pounds.
TRAVEL & AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS: 100% Remote; <10% travel. Ability to travel off-site to client meetings and industry conferences. Available to provide support during operational hours, as needed.
