Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description: We're seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst with expertise in Apache Superset to create insightful data visualizations and reports that support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Apache Superset for data analysis and exploration workflows.
• Design and develop charts, tables, and visualizations to identify key trends and patterns from raw data to aid decision-making.
• Configure and connect to various SQL databases to query and visualize data effectively.
• Process and prepare data for reporting, ensuring proper structure for visualization.
• Execute SQL queries to explore data and deliver insights to guide company policies, decisions, and strategies.
• Create alerts and notifications with specific conditions on scheduled times.
• Manage user permissions and access controls for dashboards and reports.
• Support analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders in understanding data through visualizations.
• Interact with GraphQL APIs for data validation and exploration.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency with Apache Superset or similar BI tools.
• Expertise in SQL language.
• Experience with Python and GraphQL.
• Understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.

Position Details:

• Location: Remote in US; based in Alabama, Arizona, D.C., Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, or Texas.
• Hours: Starting at 10 hours/week, with potential to increase if mutually suitable.
