Job summary

American Custom Meats, LLC is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to develop and improve BI, analytics, and reporting tools across the organization. This role will transform data from operational systems into insights to support leadership decisions, manufacturing performance, pricing, profitability, and continuous improvement.

The position requires expertise in Power BI, Excel, and querying data from ERP systems, with a focus on pricing, margins, and cost analysis across departments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, financial analysis, manufacturing analytics, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard development and data modeling.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, complex formulas, data analysis, and financial modeling.
• Experience extracting, combining, and validating data from ERP or other business systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Analyze and validate data from Canopy ERP, Redzone, and other business systems.
• Develop reporting for production volume, throughput, labor utilization, downtime, yield, inventory, OTIF, manufacturing costs, and profitability.
• Establish consistent KPIs and identify and resolve data integrity issues.
• Develop and maintain pricing, costing, and margin-analysis tools.
• Provide analytical support and recommendations related to pricing, product profitability, and business opportunities.
• Analyze manufacturing performance and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support and administer the Redzone productivity platform and serve as a primary contact with the vendor.
• Train and support managers and other users on Power BI, Redzone, dashboards, and analytical tools.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, FSQA, Technical Services, and other teams to improve reporting and data accessibility.

Position Summary

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing, food manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods experience.
• Experience with Redzone or another manufacturing productivity/OEE platform.
• Experience with product costing, pricing, or margin analysis.

This position operates in both an office and food manufacturing environment. Employees may occasionally enter refrigerated production areas with temperatures ranging from approximately 30–50°F and may be exposed to moderate to loud noise levels.

Pay Range:$75,000–$90,000 annually
