Job Description:

Assent Advisory Group is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support data analysis, information systems, systems analysis, and business intelligence activities in support of federal government programs.

The position will support the planning, coordination, and execution of activities involving electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with technical and business stakeholders to organize data, improve reporting, support decision-making, and translate operational requirements into useful analytical products.

This position requires an analyst who can work independently, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and contribute to the development and improvement of business intelligence and information management capabilities. The underlying LCAT requires 3–10 years of experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support business intelligence, data analysis, and information systems activities.
• Plan and coordinate activities involving electronic data processing and information systems.
• Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support systems analysis efforts and help translate business requirements into technical or analytical solutions.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and analytical products to support management decision-making.
• Collect, organize, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Work with stakeholders to identify reporting requirements, key performance indicators, and analytical priorities.
• Support data quality reviews and help identify inconsistencies, gaps, and duplicate information.
• Assist in the development and improvement of data-driven business processes.
• Coordinate with database, data science, IT, and program management personnel as required.
• Prepare briefings, reports, documentation, and visualizations to communicate findings to leadership.
• Support automation and process-improvement initiatives where appropriate.
• Maintain documentation of analytical methodologies, data sources, assumptions, and reporting processes.

Experience:

• 3–10 years of relevant professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, information systems, systems analysis, electronic data processing, computer programming, or a related discipline.
• Experience analyzing structured data and producing actionable business insights.
• Experience supporting reporting, information systems, or decision-support environments.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into analytical products.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with large or complex datasets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience supporting federal government or Department of Defense programs preferred.
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements where permitted by the contract.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst
• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer
• CompTIA Data+
• Certified Business Analysis Professional or similar business analysis certification
• Current federal security clearance preferred but not required for all positions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, Secret, or higher clearance if required by the contract.
