Magnite is seeking an Analyst, Business Intelligence to enhance our analytics capabilities and drive data-driven decisions across Publisher, DSP & Agency Sales, Account Management, and Executive teams. The role focuses on building scalable analyses and dashboards, improving operational workflows, and supporting experimentation with A/B testing.

You will leverage SQL/Python, Tableau, and AI tools to deliver actionable insights and optimize revenue across platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in consulting/BI/revenue management.
• Knowledge of ad tech or programmatic platforms.
• Strong analytical programming: SQL and Python.
• Experience with data visualization (Tableau or similar).
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Develop analysis-driven processes to optimize workflows across stakeholders and platforms.
• Write clean, scalable SQL queries to extract insights for dashboards.
• Interpret data to identify patterns and trends and communicate findings.

Job description

• Magnite is actively seeking an Analyst, Business Intelligence to add their analytical skills to our team. With the overarching objective of increasing spend on the Magnite Platforms, the Business Intelligence team works to deliver actionable information to various stakeholders across the Publisher, DSP & Agency Sales, Account Management, and Executive Teams
• The Analyst, Business Intelligence will be responsible for developing analysis-driven processes and solutions to optimize operational workflows across various sets of stakeholders and platforms
• Support a data-driven, fact based approach to Business Intelligence
• Conduct revenue and yield analysis across a complex set of business accounts
• Leverage technical and programming experience, including writing clean, scalable SQL queries, to extract and display actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders through custom-built dashboards
• Interpret data to recognize patterns, analyze trends, and perform ad-hoc statistical analyses and discrepancy checks; drawing business inferences and clearly articulating findings to the target audience
• Identify opportunities and help develop solutions to business problems
• Understand A/B Testing, own the end-to-end experimentation framework, analyze results and drive business decisions based on the tests
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards while independently streamlining reporting frameworks to enhance operational efficiency and scalability
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate code generation, debug complex SQL/Python scripts and understand existing codes/datasets/pipelines

Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, product-focused, scalable analysis on tight timelines2+ years of work experience in a consulting, business intelligence, or revenue management functionUnderstanding of ad tech and programmatic platforms (SSP or DSP business platform/ Ad Serving) as well as financial implications to the bottom line is a plusExceptional creative problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with some form of analytical programming (e.g. SQL, Python) as well as an ability and eagerness to independently learn new languages and techniquesA bachelor's Degree in Math, Economics, Business, Operations Research, or a related scientific fieldPrior experience implementing reporting and data visualization solutions and fluency in Tableau or another tool
