Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Placement Specialist in Business Insurance to support Dakotas offices. You will prepare submissions, analyze quotes, and collaborate with producers, service staff, and carriers to position clients for renewal and growth.

The role emphasizes marketing operations, client service, and risk assessment to place client risks with markets, while maintaining strong compliance and documentation practices within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Property and casualty coverage and risk management knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and sales-related skills in dealing with Producers, Client Executives, Carriers, and Clients.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Review submissions from Service Team to ensure necessary information is received.
• Prepare draft submission documents and finalize submissions for delivery.
• Review quotes against specifications and develop side-by-side comparisons.
• Record and maintain information in the system of record.
• Prepare program proposals and assist with bind orders to carriers.
• Participate in marketing meetings to discuss opportunities for new and renewal business.
• Work with producers and service staff in day-to-day marketing of new and renewal commercial lines.
