Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Business Insurance Account Associate in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on client service, data entry, and supporting the account team with renewals and new business responsibilities.

You will assist with certificates, loss runs, and reports, while learning to prioritize tasks and develop carrier relationships. A strong team player mindset and a willingness to grow are essential.

Qualifications

• Require High School Diploma; 0–12 months prior experience; reliable and punctual.
• Develop active listening, verbal and written communication; customer service.
• Basic knowledge of prioritization and organizational skills; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client service deliverables and tasks.
• AMS data entry for new business, renewals, and projects.
• Order and file loss runs; generate certificate holder lists; request mod data.
• Provide support for new business, renewals, and general service needs.
• Utilize tools like Reference Connect, Playbook, MMA U as needed.

Applicants must be within driving distance to our Atlanta, GA office to be considered for this role and have the ability to commute to the office a minimum of three days per week.

A day in the life.

As an Business Insurance Account Associate, you will:

• Basic Knowledge of Agency Management System
• Assist with client service deliverables aligned with tasks
• Steps in to support account team members on any/all functions as needed.
• Assists other Account Associate's during high volume times as needed.
• Basic knowledge of available tools (Reference Connect, Playbook, MMA U)
• Provides New Business, Renewal and General Service Support based on the following tasks:
  • AMS Data Entry: new business support, renewal support, special projects
  • Order and File Loss Runs
  • Generate Certificate Holder Lists
  • Download E-Mods or request from insurance carrier
  • Order Flood Zones
  • Order ISO Prometrix Reports
  • Certificate Issuance
  • Evidence of Property Issuance
  • Auto ID Card Issuance

• Works at the direction and under guidance of the Unit Leader / Unit Manager / Client Team
• Developing basic understanding of prioritization & organizational skills
• No direct carrier interaction but understands the importance of strong carrier relationships.
• Basic application of tools & resources
• Basic application in Adobe, Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) and proficient in Excel
• Learn and adopt MMA Core Values: Collaboration, Passion, Innovation, Accountability
• Property Casualty Resident's License within 90 days of hire
• Annual CE Requirement
