Job summary

Hornell Brewing Co., Inc. in Woodbury, NY seeks a Business Insights Analyst to create and analyze monthly POS reports and work with account managers to build sales presentations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in business analytics.
• Experience with MS Office and data reporting tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze monthly POS and consumer panel reports and presentations to support account managers and sales leadership team.
• Synthesize external trends with internal data in evaluating the best strategic course of action.
• Work closely with account managers to deliver insight-driven sales stories to help increase distribution and sales growth.
• Monitor the results of distribution gains and promotional strategies by evaluating performance in relation to category share and volume growth.
• Evaluate category trends and become an expert on the tea and juice categories.
• Develop a knowledge base on major brands, packs, items, flavors at a national and regional level.
• Learn and understand the retail landscape and the major differences among multi-outlet retail channel environments (Food, Drug, Mass, Club, etc.).
• Other duties may be assigned, as needed, or required.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Business Insights Analyst will create and analyze monthly point of sale reports and work closely with account managers to create sales presentations. The right candidate will have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and demonstrate the ability to deal with ambiguity and show flexibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in business,economics, marketing,accounting, finance or related fieldor minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analytics.
