Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a data analytics professional in Parsippany, NJ to design and develop advanced analytics solutions. You will engage with business teams to understand challenges, draw actionable insights, and help scale analytics across the organization.

The role requires a strong foundation in SQL, Python or R, and BI tools like Tableau or Power BI. Collaborative, strategic thinkers with excellent communication will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Business Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science, Econometrics, Statistics or related field.
• Internship experience delivering analytical solutions or equivalent experience in data analytics roles.
• Experience with database queries (Oracle, SQLServer) and at least one programming language (Python or R).
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Ability to think strategically and identify critical success factors in developing solutions.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand, fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science, Econometrics, Statistics or related field
• Internship experience delivering analytical solutions or equivalent combination of education and relevant internship experience in data analytic type roles.
• Experience with database queries (e.g., Oracle, SQLServer) and at least one programming language (e.g. Python or R)
• Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Ability to think strategically and identify critical success factors when developing solutions
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand, and fast paced environment

The annual starting salary for this position is between$70,000 – $80,000annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
