Position Title: Business Information Developer Consultant – ETL Developer

Job Description:

Business Information Developer Consultant – ETL Developer

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 day per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Ideal candidates will be able to report to one of our Pulse Point locations in Chicago, IL or Indianapolis, IN.

The Business Information Consultant Developer-ETL Developer is responsible for developing and executing complex data mining analyses.

How you will make an impact:

1. Coordinate activities with clients regarding opportunity analysis using claims data.
2. Determine how decision support systems will provide the data required for effective business decisions.
3. Model information sources and data flows.
4. Coordinate project team activities and monitor schedules and costs.
5. Develop strategic report applications from the data warehouse.
6. Maintain knowledge of data warehouse design, data definitions, system capabilities, programming languages, and data integrity issues.
7. Develop and support complex data warehouse applications requiring database design and implementation.
8. Program predominantly.
9. Conduct training on developed applications.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BS/BA degree and at least 4 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

1. Experience with relational databases and query tools; knowledge of statistical software preferred.
2. Ability to manipulate large data sets preferred.
3. At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure) preferred.
4. At least 3 years of hands-on experience with ETL tools like DataStage, SSIS, or similar preferred.
5. Strong SQL and analytical skills preferred.
6. Experience developing APIs preferred.
7. Experience designing and implementing data pipelines in cloud platforms preferred.
8. Deep knowledge of AWS services such as IAM, CloudFormation, EC2, S3, ECS, EMR/Spark, SQS, SNS, Glue, Data Catalog, etc., preferred.
9. Experience with relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, T-SQL scripts, and stored procedures preferred.
10. Experience with event-driven architecture preferred.
11. Hands-on experience with JSON and RabbitMQ preferred.
12. Experience with Sybase and MongoDB preferred.
13. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually at the specified location, the salary range is $110,440 - $165,660.
