Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains databases to track business performance.
• Analyzes data and summarizes performance using summary statistical procedures.
• Develops and analyzes business performance reports (e.g. for claims data, provider data, utilization data) and provides notations of performance deviations and anomalies.
• Develop and analyze business performance reports involving claims, provider, utilization, and other healthcare data.
• Identify, investigate, and document performance deviations, trends, and data anomalies.
• Prepare and publish recurring regulatory reports, as well as ad hoc reports and analyses
• Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into effective diagnostic, tracking, and decision-support tools.
• Develop data-driven recommendations that support business decisions and regulatory compliance.
• Provide analytical consultation to business partners, leadership, and external stakeholders.
• Analyze and report on large, complex datasets requiring advanced technical and analytical judgment.

Position Title

Business Information Analyst Senior

Location

This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

Minimum Requirements

Requires a BS/BA degree in related field and a minimum of 3 years data analysis or related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Experience and Capabilities

• Advanced SQL and Tableau highly preferred.
• Experience with reporting and query tools such as, SSIS, SSRS, EDM, Snowflake, or Python is preferred.
• Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manipulate large sets of data strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and problem solving skills strongly preferred.
• Healthcare industry and Medicaid experience preferred

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $77,520 to $116,280.
