Job summary

Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking a highly motivated attorney for our South Bend Office with 1–3 years of business immigration experience to join its Immigration and Global Mobility Services practice group. The attorney will work under the supervision of Immigration Partners and collaborate with team members across the firm on cases for employers in corporate and technology sectors.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree and in good standing with the state bar.
1–3 years of business immigration experience preferred.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills required.
Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with PERM, H-1B, L-1, TN, and EB categories is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform legal research and develop arguments for business immigration matters.
Manage large caseloads and deadlines while drafting and reviewing petitions.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams; supervise paralegals as needed.
Assist with a wide range of case types for employers across several sectors.
Maintain professionalism and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
