This position, offered through a recruiting partner, involves managing a diverse caseload of nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions while delivering high-quality legal guidance in a remote setting. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and client-centered communication skills to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Duties:
Handle a range of employment-based immigration cases including O-1, H-1B, L-1, E-2, EB-1, PERM, and NIW petitions
Advise clients on immigration options, strategies, compliance issues, and documentation requirements
Draft, review, and finalize petition packages, legal correspondence, and supporting documentation
Communicate regularly with clients to collect documents, provide updates, and answer questions
Conduct initial consultations and ongoing case meetings with clients
Coordinate with paralegals and legal support staff to ensure timely and accurate filings
Respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and draft appeals or agency correspondence as needed
Monitor evolving immigration regulations, trends, and policy developments
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in business immigration law
Proficiency with employment-based petitions, including O-1, EB-1, NIW, and PERM
Strong written and oral communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Technologically proficient, with familiarity in case management software (INSZoom strongly preferred)
Client-centric approach and strong interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a fully remote and fast-paced legal environment
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Certifications:
Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction
