Company Description

Scott Legal, P.C. focuses on business immigration cases for employers, investors, and entrepreneurs, (E-2, TN, O-1, EB-1, National Interest Waiver (NIW), EB-5, H-1B, Green Cards, and L visas), and to a lesser extent also processes other immigration petitions such as family-based petitions, and immigration waivers. The firm has a strong advocacy focus, and also engages in limited immigration litigation. You will have a heavy case load and must manage multiple cases at one time.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Business Immigration Associate at Scott Legal, P.C. The Business Immigration Associate will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks related to Business Immigration matters, assisting clients with E-2, L-1, PERM, EB-1, EB-2/3, and EB-5 Visas. You must have at least 3 years of experience as an immigration lawyer and this is the minimum experience we will consider. There is no need to apply if you do not have at least 3 years of immigration experience as a lawyer.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Business Immigration law with at least 3 years of experience processing business immigration cases
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to a State Bar

Compensation

• Salary range: $100,000 - $140,000. The higher end of the range would be reserved for candidates that have much more than 3 years of experience. Salary offer may be market dependent.
