Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Business Function Implementation Lead for a Contract job with a client in Chicago, IL(Remote). This role requires at least 5 years of hands-on SAP GTS experience, including two full lifecycle implementations and expertise in import/export compliance.

Rate Range: $92/hour to $95/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Function Implementation Lead job responsibilities include:

• Lead SAP S/4 GTS implementations, including full lifecycle deployments with a focus on compliance, customs, and trade processes.

• Manage compliance operations, including embargo checks, sanctioned party list screening, and legal control using GTS master data.

• Coordinate with customs brokers and service providers (e.g., Descartes) to facilitate trade agreement management and documentation flow.

• Maintain and govern GTS master data, including classification data, business partner records, and regulatory attributes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients, especially in the life sciences sector, to align GTS solutions with business and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• College degree preferred; SAP GTS expertise is essential.

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP GTS, including at least two full lifecycle implementations.

• Strong client-facing skills.

Pay Details: $92.00 to $95.00 per hour
