Luna Community College seeks an experienced instructor to teach required business courses for certificates and an associate degree. You will complete assessment reports for accreditation and work on course and program improvement.

The role involves travel to satellite locations as needed, collaboration with faculty, and active participation in departmental accreditation tasks. A Master’s in Business and teaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Business or related field (Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management or Economics) is required.
• At least two years teaching experience in Higher Education is preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license without restrictions for the duration of employment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare syllabi each semester, select textbooks, and adopt texts within the college system.
• Utilize LMS to support instruction across asynchronous, synchronous, and hybrid modalities.
• Administer and grade assignments, quizzes, tests, and outcomes assessments.
• Engage in course and program assessment, and use data to improve teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with department to support accreditation and program development.
• Provide student advisement and guidance on degree audits and completion goals.
• Support recruitment and articulation with local schools and higher education institutions.
