You will partner with warehouse operations, inventory management, inbound/outbound logistics, and processing teams to ensure stable operations, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements across SAP EWM workflows.

Business EWM S4 Lead (Contract)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business focused EWM S4 Lead to join the team on a 12-month contract engagement. This role will provide senior business expertise and operational business consultancy and support across warehouse and logistics operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with warehouse operations, inventory management, inbound/outbound logistics, and processing teams to ensure operational stability, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for process and functional improvements within the SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) environment.

This role requires a hands‑on business leader with strong SAP S/4 operational and transactional knowledge, deep EWM expertise, and strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide business leadership and expertise in SAP S/4HANA EWM within a warehouse and supply chain environment.
• Support day‑to‑day warehouse operations, ensuring SAP processes effectively support operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to inventory management, inbound/outbound processing, and warehouse workflows.
• Work closely with warehouse operations and supply chain teams to ensure system processes align with operational needs.
• Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies across warehouse management processes.
• Provide guidance and support to business users, helping drive best practices in warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize system usage and improve operational performance.
• Document processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Experience

• Strong business experience with warehousing
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
• Solid operational and transactional S4/EWM experience in warehouse environments.
• Experience supporting warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, inventory, and processing activities.
• Proven ability to operate at a senior consultant or leadership level.
• Experience working closely with business and operational stakeholders to resolve system and process challenges.
• Previous experience within Warehouse leadership & operations.
• Background in FMCG or high‑volume distribution environments is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
