Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience building and shipping production quality code.
• Experience with open-source languages such as PHP, Python, Java, or JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience contributing to developer and platform documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact.
• Experience working in highly collaborative environments.
• Experience adhering to responsible, ethical AI practices (risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality reviews).
• Experience contributing to open source projects or personal projects.
• Client-facing experience and/or experience communicating to an audience.
• Ongoing AI skill development (prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration).

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta
• 3+ years of experience building and shipping production quality code
• Experience with open-source languages such as PHP, Python, Java, or JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with writing and shipping reliable, scalable, and efficient code, with an emphasis on long-term maintainability, in partnership with all appropriate reviewers, in manageable pieces with relevant documentation and test plans
• Experience with software design and architecture
• Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience contributing to developer and platform documentation
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Experience working in highly collaborative environments
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Experience contributing to open source projects, shared code repositories, and/or personal projects
• Client-facing experience and/or experience communicating to an audience
