Village Capital, based in Washington, D.C., seeks talented independent consultants to join their contractor pool. This role involves supporting fundraising, business development, and strategic partnerships. Ideal candidates will have expertise in business development, grant writing, and CRM management, contributing to impactful solutions for early-stage startups.
Consultants are engaged on various basis—project, retainer, or hourly. Experience in the social impact ecosystem is highly desirable.

As our work continues to expand globally, we are looking to build a network of talented professionals (experienced consultants, specialists, and independent contractors) to join our contractor/consultant pool and support fundraising, partnership development, and business development operations.
We are interested in connecting with professionals who bring expertise in one or more of the areas below and are available for project-based, part-time, retainer, or ongoing engagements. Consultants may support one or multiple functions.

Experience working with impact investing, entrepreneurship support organizations, foundations, venture capital, family offices, development finance institutions, or the broader social impact ecosystem is highly desirable.
Consultants may be engaged on a project, retainer, hourly, or fixed-fee basis, depending on organizational priorities and business needs. Joining the contractor pool does not guarantee an engagement but provides an opportunity to be considered for future consulting opportunities as they arise.
