Position Overview – Business Development Specialist (BDS)
  • JRP is seeking qualified candidates for an Inside Sales Representative role to conduct B2B calls in industries such as OEM, steel, chemical, gas, industrial machinery, automation, electronics, rubber, plastic extrusion, injection molding, or blow molding.
  • The ideal candidate must have previous B2B sales experience, be a self-starter, competitive, driven, articulate, thoughtful, and experienced in communicating with all management levels and closing sales.
  • This role offers a salary of $50,000 - $100,000 per year, paid hourly.
Responsibilities
  • Identify new opportunities and build the sales pipeline through strategic prospecting, cold-calling, and emailing.
  • Qualify prospects based on their needs, goals, and business environment.
  • Coordinate with clients to align their requirements with prospects to provide quoting opportunities.
  • Track all activities in our CRM (Zoho) and generate weekly reports with insights, conversations, and pipeline updates.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of business development and sales experience.
  • Proficient with desktop or laptop computers.
  • Experience in the engineering, industrial, and/or manufacturing industries.
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
  • Ability to work independently and highly motivated.
