About The Role

Job Summary: This is an Unlicensed position. Candidates with Insurance Licenses will not be considered. SelectQuote is a growing company with a unique culture. We are hiring for our Sales Development Advisor (SDA) role within our Qualifications Team, responsible for handling all insurance product inquiries. The SDA team works with consumers to understand their needs and triages them to licensed agents. This is a great opportunity for those looking to expand into licensed sales roles after success in this position.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Outbound dialing to generate interest in our products, making up to 800 calls daily
  • Handle and overcome sales objections to transfer potential customers to licensed agents
  • Meet and exceed monthly transfer and contact-to-transfer goals to increase conversions
  • Receive paid training with all necessary tools provided
  • Potential earnings include a base plus bonus, averaging $50k in the first year, with top producers earning over $80k
  • After 6 months of success, participate in sales training to move into licensed sales roles — we will assist with licensing!

  • Ability to follow instructions and proficiency with technology, including computers, software, multiple monitors, and phone systems
  • Professional conduct and behavior
Education And Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year experience in telesales or sales environment
  • Experience in high-volume, metrics-driven, or commission-based roles preferred
  • Job stability and tenure are valued
Requirements
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or irregular schedules (with or without accommodations)
  • Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Hardwired high-speed internet (minimum 20 Mbps download and upload)
  • This is a remote work-from-home role; punctuality, attendance, and a quiet, dedicated workspace are essential
