The ideal candidate should have a degree in a relevant field and significant experience in selling nutritional ingredients. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work from home while traveling as needed throughout the specified territory. Business Development Sales Manager – Nutritional/Functional Ingredients
Dietary Supplements, Nutraceuticals, Sports Nutritional Products, Functional Foods and Beverages.
Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing of high quality, nutritional ingredients sold to Manufacturers of Dietary Supplements, Nutraceuticals, Sports Nutritional Products and Functional Foods and Beverages.
Due to rapid growth and acquisitions, they want to hire a Business Development Sales Manager to manage key accounts in the US market as well as prospect for new business. The individual will develop and grow business of existing accounts as well as identify and initiate new opportunities for profitable growth within the sector.
-Must have at least a 4-year BA/BS degree: Food Science & Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Human Nutrition, Business Administration, Marketing etc. or equivalent experience.
-Must have 1-20+ years’ experience selling functional, nutritional ingredients to Dietary Supplement, Nutraceuticals, Sports Nutrition and/or Functional Foods/Beverage Manufacturers
-Preferred if candidate has technical, R&D, applications experience and/or experience calling directly on R&D but not required.
