Position Title: Business Development Manager - New England (Remote)
Location Requirement: Must reside in Massachusetts; travel required

The Business Development Manager will drive growth and strengthen broker relationships across the New England region, with a focus on Massachusetts. This remote role requires regular travel and a strong presence in the field to support agency partners, manage performance, and identify new opportunities in the high-net-worth market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve key performance metrics including new business, retention, loss ratios, and broker engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional brokers through in-person, phone, and virtual interactions
  • Track engagement and maintain agency scorecards aligned with broker commitments
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual production goals
  • Collaborate with Underwriting and Risk Services to evaluate submissions and refine strategy
  • Ensure competitive positioning of products and services
  • Manage a pipeline of key accounts to exceed growth targets
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Rehabilitate or terminate underperforming broker relationships
  • Partner with brokers to develop creative, client-focused solutions
  • Support large account development and ensure proper documentation and communication

Qualifications:

  • Existing relationships with high-net-worth agents in New England
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance, including 2+ years in sales or marketing
