Job Overview
Business Development will be responsible for identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships within the pharmaceutical sector. You will collaborate closely with our Data Management, Data Science, IT Services, and Biometrics teams to tailor solutions that address the unique challenges faced by pharmaceutical companies. Your ability to understand the intricacies of data-driven research and translate them into compelling value propositions will be critical to your success.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with management to identify target customers, markets, and services that align with our Data Management, Data Science, Business IT Consulting, and Biometrics teams.
  2. Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within accounts and develop in-depth knowledge of the customer organization.
  3. Pursue awareness of competitive activities, positioning, and pricing, including reasons for awards and non-awards.
  4. Identify and respond to customer needs to define potential opportunities.
  5. Propose appropriate strategies/solutions to customers.
  6. Maintain high visibility within customer organizations.
  7. Identify new contact leads for potential business.
  8. Analyze industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform business development strategies.
  9. Collaborate with Commercial Operations to create, draft, review, and process various commercial agreements such as CDAs, MSAs, SOWs, COs, and Vendor Agreements.
  10. Educate clients on our offerings in Business Consulting for IT, Data Sciences, and related services.
  11. Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our services.
  12. Maintain an advanced technical understanding of our service offerings.
  13. Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for clients.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Computer Science, Business).
  2. 5+ years of experience in business development and/or sales roles.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  4. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
  5. Superior presentation and documentation skills.
  6. Ability to convincingly present features and benefits of services to clients.
  7. High professionalism in communication.
