Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, outgoing, motivated, and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate enjoys engaging in meaningful conversations, building relationships and is comfortable meeting face-to-face with business and IT leaders, attending networking events, and representing our organization at business functions. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in the Managed IT services and security services sector while maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of IT solutions, strong communication skills, and a desire to drive business growth. A willingness to travel within the DC Metro Area and a passion for connecting with people are key to succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the managed IT services market within the D.C. metro area.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their IT needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to design customized managed IT service packages for clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure profitable deals.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs consistently.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring satisfaction with services and addressing any concerns.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote our services and expand the company’s presence in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the IT services or technology sector, with a focus on managed services preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions including cloud services, cybersecurity, networking, and IT support.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools, ConnectWise and HubSpot a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the D.C. metro area.
