Job summary

Trinity Logistics is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to build relationships with prospective customers, perform inside sales tasks, cold call leads, and grow a book of business in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will evolve into an account manager, servicing clients’ transportation needs, with a base pay and unlimited commission potential, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for internal advancement.

Qualifications

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills; problem solving and decision making.
• Previous experience in a customer facing role preferred but not required.
• Experience in logistics preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data and reports, as well as ability to write reports and professional business correspondence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with CRM and BI systems helpful and generally strong computer skills.
• Ability to learn new software and computer systems.
• Disciplined organizational and multi-tasking skills required with a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrates the ability to connect with others on a personal level to create an openness and trust in the relationship whether with team members, customers or stakeholders.

Responsibilities
