Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to lead outreach, relationship building, and contract sales within the education sector. This individual will be responsible for selling licenses and multi-year contracts for our AI software to school systems, homeschool networks, charter schools, and online education platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify leads in public and private K–12 school systems, online academies, and homeschooling organizations.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers such as superintendents, principals, IT directors, and curriculum coordinators.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and demos tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Develop and manage the sales pipeline through CRM tools, ensuring consistent follow-up and reporting.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms aligned with company goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to refine messaging, identify new market opportunities, and gather client feedback.
  • Stay current on education technology trends, state-level funding programs, and AI integration in learning environments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in EdTech, SaaS, or B2B software sales (experience selling to school districts is a strong plus).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with educational funding programs (ESSER, Title I, charter funding, etc.) is highly desirable.
