Job summary

Stoneridge Software is seeking a passionate and proactive Business Development Representative to engage with potential clients and craft prospect lists. You will foster relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders while utilizing CRM and lead tools to identify opportunities.

You will drive new logo acquisition and revenue growth by collaborating with Microsoft field sellers, understanding customer needs, timelines, budgets, and competitive context.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM.
  • Inside sales or similar role experience.
  • Strong marketing fundamentals and negotiating techniques.
  • Fast learner with passion for new business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop prospect lists and engage with potential clients.
  • Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders.

Stoneridge Software isseekinga passionate and proactive Business DevelopmentRepresentative to enhance our dynamic team. In this role, you willbe responsible forcrafting prospect lists, engaging with potential clients, and fostering relationships with both prospects and internal stakeholders. Utilizing our customer relationship management and company prospecting tools will be a key part of your strategy.

In addition to the responsibilities mentioned, we expect you to drive the acquisition of new logos and play a crucial role in growing our revenue byidentifyingnew business opportunities. Your efforts will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and contributing to our overall success.

  • Utilize company prospecting tools toidentifyprospects who show intent topurchaseour solutions
  • Identifynew opportunities through our internal leads database
  • Build relationships with our partnersto createleads
  • Intake new leads from multiple sources and categorize them based on defined criteria
  • Develop highproficiencyin managing prospects in customer relationship management tool
  • Develop relationships with prospects that drive new business opportunities
  • Develop and fosterco-sellingrelationships withMicrosoft field sellers
  • Independentlyfollow upon cold and warm leads to further the sales process
  • Communicate product and industryexpertisewith prospects
  • Meet with prospects toidentifyand qualify their needs,including understanding decision makers, deliverytimeframe, budget status,challengesand pain points, and competition status
  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership todeterminelead assignment
  • Provide detailed account and opportunity information to the sales team during hand-off
  • Improve sales skills to increase success rates
  • Monitor scorecards todetermineprogress towards goals
  • Evaluate and refine current business growth metrics while developing newmetrics to boost campaign effectiveness

Work Location: This position is available remotely in the United States.

Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to regularlymeetwith client teamsacross the United States and Canada (up to 15%) and willbe asked to attend industry events from time to time

To determine competitive salaries within this range we consider candidates skills, qualifications, and experience. These are national ranges, inclusive of bonus opportunities and could represent multiple role levels.
