Job summary

TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Business Development Representative to join our Team in the Houston metropolitan area! This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity with TMD Staffing!

POSITION

Business Development Representative (Staffing, Business to Business, Outside Sales)

LOCATION

Houston, TX 77075

SHIFT

Full-Time; Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

COMPENSATION

Competitive Base Salary plus Commission

SUMMARY

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for market growth / new business. Will work directly with operations to ensure that the hiring needs of our clients and the contract employees' payroll expectations are met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all sales and service functions for targeted markets.
• Outside solicitation/Cold calls of new clientele.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and recommend candidates.
• Prepare, calculate, and negotiate bill rates with clients.
• Relationship-Oriented Builds and maintains business relationships throughout the sales cycle.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver's license and company-required car insurance coverage.
• Reliable transportation.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Outside sales experience preferred.
• Light computer experience required.
