Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a dynamic Territory Marketing Specialist to promote Home Based Services across Sumter County and nearby communities. The role focuses on developing quarterly and annual territory plans, nurturing provider relationships through targeted referrals, and educating the healthcare community about home health, hospice, and palliative care options.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct marketing of Home Based Service to assigned areas.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates territory plans to achieve growth goals and strategies.
• Develops relationships with providers by making sales calls and presentations to referral sources.
• Acts as liaison between referral partners and the agency to communicate information about products and services.
• Meets with patients and families to discuss home health, hospice, and palliative care services, and manage expectations.
• Builds relationships with admissions and patient care resources staff to ensure effective communication with referral sources.
• Updates and maintains customer and competitor profiles, logs daily call activity, and documents plans for follow-up activities.
• Serves as agency staff liaison with physicians, nurses, social workers, discharge planners, and community agencies to facilitate delivery of services.
• Utilizes agency software to complete assignments and document information in databases.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Participates in marketing efforts to educate the healthcare community, including physician calls, lunch and learns, health fairs, CEU programs.
• Prepares monthly tracking reports on referral sources and keeps the agency informed of marketplace changes.

Job Description:

Territory: Primarily Sumter County and surrounding regions to include The Villages, Lady Lake, Belleview, Summerfield, Marion Oaks, Wildwood, Bushnell, Coleman, and Oxford.

• Provides direct marketing of Home Based Service to assigned areas.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates quarterly and annual territory plans to achieve growth goals and implement agreed-upon strategies and actions.
• Develops business relationships with providers by making effective sales calls and presentations to targeted referral sources.
• Acts as liaison between referral partners and the agency to communicate information about new products, programs, and service delivery.
• Meets with patients and families to discuss home health, hospice, and palliative care services, individual needs/concerns, and manage expectations; obtains signed consent documents.
• Builds relationships within the admissions department and with patient care resources staff to ensure effective communication with referral sources and internal stakeholders.
• Updates and maintains customer and competitor profiles, logs daily call activity, and documents plans for follow-up activities with referral sources.
• Serves as agency staff liaison with physicians, facility nurses, social workers, discharge planners, and community agencies to facilitate the delivery of appropriate services for potential patients.
• Utilizes current agency and/or department-specific software to complete assignments and documents relevant information into electronic database systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Participates in marketing efforts to educate the healthcare community about home health and hospice programs, including physician calls, lunch and learns, health fairs, speaker’s bureau, and CEU programs for healthcare providers.
• Prepares monthly tracking reports on referral sources and keeps the agency informed of key marketplace changes relating to providers and competitors.
