Role & responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities with commercial enterprises and government agencies.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow revenue and expand market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement officers, program managers, and C-level executives.
  • Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and market research initiatives, especially in the government space.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., proposals, operations, legal) to ensure contract compliance and client satisfaction.

Required Expertise

The ideal candidate must have experience in Temporary Staffing (IT and Administrative) and Healthcare/Medical Staff Augmentation Services, along with hands-on expertise in:

  1. Compliance Matrix development
  2. Proposal Writing
  3. Executive Summary creation
  4. Technical Approach writing
  5. Past Performance shaping
  6. Resume formatting
  7. Graphic Design for proposals and marketing materials

Qualifications

  • 35+ years of business development experience in both commercial and government markets
  • Deep understanding of the government procurement lifecycle, including FAR, GSA schedules, and small business set-asides
  • Experience working with commercial clients in sectors such as healthcare, IT, and professional services
  • Strong proposal writing and client presentation skills
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred

  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Existing relationships within government agencies and commercial accounts
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
