The Business Development Officer is responsible for driving new core deposit growth for Peoples Security Bank & Trust through the acquisition of new treasury management relationships. This role is primarily focused on sourcing, developing, and onboarding new commercial, nonprofit, and municipal clients whose operating accounts and liquidity needs align with the Bank’s strategic growth objectives. This position partners closely with Commercial Relationship Managers and Treasury Support teams to deliver consultative cash management solutions while strengthening the Bank’s deposit base.

Education/Training: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred; additional specialized training in treasury management, commercial banking, or business development is beneficial.
Skill(s): Strong consultative selling and relationship-building abilities; demonstrated analytical capability; effective independent work habits combined with strong cross-team collaboration; solid understanding of business development practices and deposit-growth strategies.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in treasury management, commercial banking, or business development, including a proven record of sourcing new business opportunities and generating deposit growth.
