Job description

This is a remote position based in or around the Western part of the United States.

Job Summary:
Lead business development activities for APCD product lines in assigned territory. Generate and qualify leads, create proposals and close deals in support of revenue growth targets. Leverage existing AMAO Sales resources for additional account penetration and opportunity generation.

Essential Functions:

  • Take lead account development, design in and break in activities for the various product lines.
  • Work with sales and sales management to foster customer relationships that lead to new business opportunities.
  • Forecast and achieve monthly order numbers, and conduct monthly business results analysis.
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets.
  • Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.
  • Sales collateral development, sales training, and trade show support.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Self-sufficient, able to work independently while maintaining a team player attitude.
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while prioritizing service & time-sensitive requests.
  • Effective communication & presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 35%, domestic and international.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

Years' Experience: 3+ years' experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Marketing, or equivalent work experience.
