About the role

As a Business Development Manager for Hstens on the West Coast (US & Canada), you will be responsible for driving Hstens' growth and expansion within your region. You will be the brand ambassador for Hstens and report to our Country Sales Leader in North America. Your role involves collaborating with high-level partners to enhance store sales performance and contribute to overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Business Action Plans (BAP) to meet sales targets.
  • Implement BAP initiatives, support local marketing strategies, and ensure alignment with Hstens' standards.
  • Drive brand building through initiatives that enhance brand loyalty and recognition.
  • Monitor store performance against targets and drive success.
  • Identify opportunities to improve partners' business using data analysis, market insights, and best practices.
  • Manage accounts and serve as liaison between partners and corporate teams (finance, marketing, IT, operations).
  • Ensure stores adhere to brand guidelines and store design standards.
  • Support order intake and claims processes.
  • Ensure customer service levels meet the highest standards to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Train and onboard new store staff to promote mastery and premium quality concepts.

You will also be required to

  • Invest in personal development through internal training in Sweden.
  • Communicate new products, services, developments, and deal structures effectively.

Deliverables

  • Annual Business Action Plans to improve traffic, revenue, and conversion rates.
  • Track outcomes of BAP activities.
  • Achieve yearly sales targets.
  • Bi-annual visual merchandising reports with improvement plans.
  • Store visit reports.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least five years of successful B2C and B2B sales experience with strong negotiation skills.
  • Strategic planning abilities to meet sales objectives.
  • Luxury/high-end retail experience is advantageous.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Skills in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively (70-80%) within the territory and quarterly to Sweden.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Fluent in English.
