Position Summary
Manages sales in the assigned geographical region and key account relationships. Protects existing business and grows sales with existing and prospective customers in the assigned region. Leads business development initiatives to penetrate key accounts in the assigned region and product categories. Sets and maintains strategy for these customers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Meets and exceeds sales objective in the assigned region
- Penetrate and develop relationships with assigned account targets
- Compile strategies and plans to grow business in specified customers, markets, or geographic regions
- Populate and maintain the CRM pipeline with impeccable accuracy in order to measure success
- Understand and communicate the market trends and competition for the region
- Secure contracts for new projects to lock in growth
- Compiles information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
- Travels for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships

Pay Range: $110,000 - $130,000
Qualifications
- Degree in related field, with 5 to 10 years of experience in business development
- Proven success, knowledge, and experience growing sales
- Experience working in a manufacturing industry is desirable
- Pipeline management and forecasting skills including sales planning and territory management
- Building relationships, managing sales processes, and negotiation skills
- Market knowledge, providing input into budgets and forecasting
