Business Development Manager South Central (Remote) | Utilimaster | Remote

Regular Employee | Salary Non-Exempt

What you'll do:

As the Business Development Manager (Remote) for Utilimaster (a Shyft Group brand), you will be responsible for driving new business in the South Central region (TX, LA, OK, AR, MO) with a focus on OEM Chassis Dealers, Tier 2 Leasing, and Rental customers.

This role involves approximately 70% of your time on new business development and 30% nurturing existing customer relationships. It requires up to 50% travel, averaging 25-30%.

  1. Generate & qualify new leads.
  2. Develop & execute market penetration strategies.
  3. Build & manage a robust sales pipeline.
  4. Negotiate & close complex leasing deals.
  5. Represent the company at industry events & prospect new clients.
What you need to be successful:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of new business development experience or High School diploma plus 8+ years of experience.
  • Proven lead generation & closing skills.
  • Strong prospecting & networking abilities.
  • Hunter mentality with a drive to exceed targets.
  • Proficient in MS Office; ability to travel up to 50%.
