Job description

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.

This highly motivated, data-driven individual will be responsible for generating and closing new business, building long-term client relationships, and utilizing industry knowledge to provide tailored solutions in the environmental services sector. This role will require a proactive approach to sales, leveraging industry connections and market insights to drive growth, while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and compliance.

This hybrid position is based in our Royse City, Texas office.

Responsibilities:

  1. Originate and close both repeat and new business opportunities, ensuring sustained revenue growth.
  2. Stay informed on market trends and industry developments to effectively network with like-minded companies.
  3. Collaborate with fellow sales professionals to generate referrals and secure introductions to potential clients.
  4. Cold-call and prospect new companies that align with Triumvirate’s target profile.
  5. Master and sell all service lines offered by Triumvirate Environmental.
  6. Leverage Triumvirate's internal CRM system to track and manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  7. Maintain a high level of sales activity within an assigned region to meet or exceed targets.
  8. Attend industry trade shows, conventions, and other relevant networking events to build brand presence and generate leads.
  9. Utilize knowledge of RCRA and OSHA regulations to foster trust and credibility with customers and prospects.
  10. Develop a strong understanding of the technical, customer service, and business aspects of environmental services.
  11. Focus on building long-term, client-centered relationships that add value for customers.
  12. Deliver exceptional service, exceeding expectations to WOW! Triumvirate's internal and external customers.
  13. Apply Sandler Sales principles to effectively navigate sales conversations, overcome objections, and close deals.

Basic Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science or Environmental Studies.
  2. 3+ years previous sales experience, preferably within the Environmental Services industry.
  3. Experience selling services into the Industrial Manufacturing and/or Life Sciences markets.
  4. Familiarity with consultative sales techniques.
  5. Direct selling experience into Life Sciences (Biotech, Pharmaceuticals), Higher Education, Advanced Manufacturing, or Healthcare industries.
  6. Basic knowledge of or desire to learn the environmental services field.
  7. Must be a self-starter and have a sense of urgency to close business.
  8. Regional travel and overnights may be required.
  9. Must have a reliable form of transportation, valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record.
  10. Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
