Business Development Manager - Roofing & Solar Manufacturing

Location: Remote


Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + OTE of £50,000-£60,000 + All expenses paid + Pension + Progression + Bonus

The company specializes in providing innovative renewable energy solar solutions to clients in the commercial and industrial sectors. With global investment, they aim to continue their success, focusing on photovoltaics integrated with building architecture.


This role is suitable for someone with previous sales experience and knowledge in the roofing industry. You will be responsible for generating new business, particularly for roofing systems. The position offers a hybrid work structure with travel for client meetings, typically once a week, depending on your ability to utilize systems like Teams for remote meetings. You should be self-sufficient, capable of managing your workload, and comfortable with high-volume cold calling, inbound calls, and handling leads.


This opportunity is ideal for a motivated sales professional in roofing looking to grow their career and earnings potential.

The Role
  • Selling roofing products to clients across the UK
  • Travel across the UK, with a split between home-based work and client meetings
  • Managing the full sales lifecycle
  • Converting outbound and inbound calls and leads
  • Working Monday to Friday, 9-5
The Person
  • Experience in sales within roofing and solar industries is preferred
  • Knowledge of roof design and construction; CAD skills are a plus
  • Familiarity with solar technology
