ND Industries is now part of H.B. Fuller and a manufacturer of solutions for locking, bonding, sealing, masking, lubricating, and assembling fasteners. The Business Development Manager – Pre-Applied Adhesives position is expected to grow and retain H.B. Fuller's market share and customer base in key market segments aligning with company financial targets. Primary Responsibilities

Creating a Connection

  1. Builder of relationships; internal, direct customers and distribution partners.
  2. Importance of time management and alignment with goals.
  3. Drive increased, sustainable sales revenue, maintain existing business, grow customer base, and minimize erosion.

Help Customers Win

  1. Drive customer intimacy by delivering H. B. Fuller’s value.
  2. Conduit to the customer for expertise of adhesive applications with the support of numerous internal technical team members.
  3. Strategic resource to our customers on key market issues; raw material & supply trends and helping the customer win with cutting edge product and process innovation.

Demonstrates Functional Excellence

  1. Strategic planner to accomplish focused annual sales & personal growth goals.
  2. Understands competitive landscape and how to position H.B. Fuller for customer’s advantage.
  3. Experienced in sales territory management.

Sales Competencies

  1. Effective sales technique & strategy skillset to successfully call on various departments and levels within an organization.
  2. Time management, prospecting, negotiation, and relationship building with direct and distribution.
  3. Sales know-how for all stages of a sales cycle, from prospecting through post close.
  4. Maintain a forecast and targeting sales attainment plan.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. 4-year degree in engineering or sciences.
  2. 7+ years of Business Development experience in relevant industry; will consider direct sales experience as alternative, and proven experience hunting new business.
  3. 3+ years Automotive, Adhesives, or Fastener market experience.
  4. Experience working with blueprint specifications and drawings.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  6. Experience working with internal and external customers.
  7. Valid driver’s license.
  8. Ability to travel up to 50% within the US with potential internationally 1-3 times a year.

Preferred Qualification

  1. 5+ years’ experience working with adhesive applications in the Automotive or Fastener fields.

This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. Applicants must have U.S. work authorization that does not now or in the future require H.B. Fuller sponsorship of a work visa to work for H.B. Fuller.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is up to $140,000.
