Business Development Manager (Jacksonville or South Florida)

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you'll focus on developing new sales and managing the full sales cycle – from prospecting through close. We're looking for a driven “hunter” with a strong new business focus, someone who thrives on building relationships, navigating complex client needs, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Identify client challenges and recommend tailored HR solutions that meet their specific needs
• Prospect, develop, and close new sales—with a primary focus on the Florida market and flexibility to sell throughout Florida and nationally
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and referral partners
• Conduct product demonstrations—with the help of internal partners—that highlight the value of AlphaStaff’s offerings
• Lead all aspects of the sales cycle—from prospecting and networking to proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing
• Represent AlphaStaff at industry events to expand your network and build brand awareness
• Collaborate with sales leadership and marketing teams to support strategic initiatives and lead generation
• Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets to support company growth

Qualifications :

• Proven track record in selling complex HR solutions, preferably with experience in the California market
• Strong relationship-building skills, especially with C-level executives
• Self-starter with the ability to manage the complete sales process with minimal support from sales admin / ops
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a consultative sales approach
• Highly motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely and in the field
• This is a remote position based on the West Coast
