Job description

· Minimum of 4-5 years' experience effectively selling auto parts in person and on the phone.

· Gray market parts experience (preferred)

· Wholesale Export and domestic auto parts sales experience (Preferred)

· Relationships with Body shop groups can be very important

· Ability to communicate with Parts managers

· Understand car dealership back counter and front counter sales.

· Having an existing network of new car dealership parts department relationships is very important

· Able to develop new accounts

· Maintaining and growing existing accounts

· Fluent in English (Spanish is highly advantageous but not required)

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferred, will train the right candidate)

· Detail-oriented.

· Experience at companies such as LKQ, Applegate, Transworld, and Auto Nation is very helpful.

Our client, a dynamic company in the auto parts industry, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team while driving the company's expansion efforts.

In this role, you will introduce the client to current contacts and establish online sales meetings between yourself, potential customers, and the client's management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Selling genuine automotive parts to domestic new car dealerships, wholesalers, and distributors.
  • Strengthening current new car dealership relationships to increase business.
  • Creating new relationships through on-site visits, LinkedIn, phone, etc.
  • Able to follow the client's project manager's direction proficiently, however, must be able to work independently as needed.
  • Travel to customer sites when necessary.
  • Market research and analysis to determine the best targets.
  • Relationship creation based on market analysis and outreach.
  • Begin selling the product through BDM’s existing contact pipeline.
  • Ramping up to these metrics in Quarter 1:
  • Set up at least one introduction/sales meeting per day for the client's management with a goal of ten per week.
  • Closing two to three deals per week; all to be approved by the client's management.
About Repserve:

At Repserve, we lease sales professionals to overseas companies on a shared-time basis, allowing firms to enter new markets or grow in existing ones.

Our Reps have a maximum of 3 complimentary (never competing) clients. They answer all calls and emails at all times but manage their physical client time to suit the time allocation selected by the client.

This role is for an allocation of 25% of your time or 40 hrs/month. We will target other potential clients in the same sector to fill your portfolio and take your time allocation up to 100% (if not yet full-time) or should you so wish. This position offers a monthly salary of $800 plus commission.

Your day-to-day expenses will be covered (i.e., petrol, parking, tolls, mobile call charges, etc.). Larger expenses such as international travel, hotels, and large group entertainment should be approved by your client prior to incurring.

Your client will be encouraged to pay a sales commission based on performance. If they choose to do this, the structure of their commission scheme shall be discussed and agreed between you and your client.
