Job Title

Business Development Manager, NORAM

Summary of the role:

Reporting to the Head of Marketing for Amadeus Cytric in NORAM, the Business Development Manager, NORAM is responsible for generating and qualifying leads into opportunities from both direct and indirect channels in the North American market, driving measurable pipeline growth.

They work closely with all stakeholders involved in creating and executing the demand generation strategy for North America and develop and drive targeted outreach strategies to drive pipeline growth. This role involves both strategy and execution, with a strong focus on prospecting, lead generation and development, prospect qualification, and partner demand generation support.

In this role you will:

Demand Generation:

  • Develop and implement a robust lead development strategy for NORAM, for both direct and indirect channels, to identify and engage prospects

  • Qualify new leads (inbound and outbound), convert them into opportunities, and actively participate in the sales process

  • Consistently apply, adapt and improve as needed outreach, follow-up and lead qualification and tracking processes

  • Trackand report on lead performance metrics, including response rates, number of touches, conversion rates and sales qualified opportunities

  • Deliver at least 12 qualified opportunities per resource each quarter

Collaboration:

  • Always operate in alignment with sales and marketing objectives, and use correct and consistent messaging throughout the various outreach channels

  • Prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects and stakeholders, and communicate across teams and reporting lines

About the ideal candidate:

  • Education: Bachelor's or a master's degree in marketing, communications, or business and/or equivalent work experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 + years in business development, sales development, marketing or other related roles

Role related skills:

  • Thorough approach to mapping, planning and prospecting in their assigned market

  • High level of comfort in using multiple data sources and tools to collect and apply relevant and reliable information to develop business opportunities in both direct and indirect channels

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English:

    • Ability to articulate customer centric value propositions and adapt to the audience they engage with

    • Ability to write impactful succinct emails and recognize the need for different types of content depending on the prospect lifecycle

  • Experience with Salesforce or other sales management and CRM tools

  • Experience with data enrichment tools, such as Zoominfo, Cognism or others, and lead development cadence tools, such as Salesloft, Outreach or similar

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite

Soft skills:

  • Self-driven, curious, sharp critical thinking and positive energy

  • Comfortable with risk and uncertainty, ambitious and proactive

  • Numbers-driven and a problem solver

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative problem-solving processes to deliver the desired results

  • 10-20% travel within North America for sales meetings, industry events or as required to fulfilthe role requirements
