Job summary

SkillCorner is seeking a Business Development Manager to scale adoption of basketball and American football analytics across NCAA programs. Remote in the United States with regular campus and industry travel, you will build a targeted territory, engage athletic decision-makers, and manage opportunities from prospecting to close.

You will leverage existing NCAA connections, demonstrate data-driven value, and own the end-to-end sales cycle, including proposals and contracts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable B2B sales success.
• Strong understanding of US college athletics and basketball and/or American football.
• Existing NCAA network among coaches, analysts, recruiting staff or athletic administrators.
• Excellent written, presentation, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Ability to learn and explain analytical products to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute an account plan across assigned NCAA programs, conferences and partners alongside the NCAA Sales Manager and Regional Director.
• Generate, qualify and convert opportunities through thoughtful outreach, referrals and events.
• Run discovery with coaches, recruiting, scouting, analytics, performance and athletic-department stakeholders.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations connecting SkillCorner data to recruiting, transfer-portal, roster and performance decisions.
• Own proposals, procurement, negotiation, contracting, CRM records and forecast accuracy.
• Partner with Customer Solutions on onboarding, adoption, renewal and expansion.
• Share structured market feedback and represent SkillCorner at relevant college-sports events.
