Job summary

Skadden seeks a Manager, Business Development (M&A) in Washington D.C. (hybrid) to support strategic plans for our M&A and Corporate practices. You will drive cross-practice collaboration, oversee pitches, client targeting and event coordination, and lead pipelines to ensure growth.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and seven+ years in law-firm business development or marketing, with strong CRM and MS Office skills and a client-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with seven+ years of business development and marketing experience in a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of relevant firm software (CRM/InterAction, MS Office).
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong project-management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Draft pitches, capability statements, placemats and BD presentations.
• Lead cross-practice collaboration and coordinate projects and events.
• Manage sales pipeline and client targeting across regions.
• Support thought leadership, profile-raising and client communications.
